Works well, feels like the original. I can't remember if the original controller on the game cube had force feedback. This controller does not feature force feedback. Price is fair. No complaints, works as it should.

  • Works with Dolphin on Linux

Requires manual button mapping with Dolphin on Debian but jstest-gtk can help if you don't want to go through trial and error to set it up. Less responsive in fighting games (i.e. Smash Bros) than an OEM controller on a GC. I found myself having to meticulously time button combinations to pull off what feels second nature on a Gamecube with a regular controller. Works great for RPGs. Good controller overall.

  • Controller input not mapped properly. C-...

Controller input not mapped properly. C-stick has same inputs as A, B, X and Y. D-pad has same in puts for analog stick.

  • C-Stick doesn't work as intended

The controller was able to work with my computer without much hassle, but the problem is that the C-stick was mapped to the A/B/X/Y buttons and not as its own joystick. Nothing I did fixed this, and apparently this is just a problem with third-party controllers.

works, but can't get the controls to map and stay in emulators.

  • easy to use

The controller works doesn't require installment, and works just as fine as a real controller on the GameCube.

The buttons are a bit strange, but it's a good controller nonetheless.
