This movie is absolutely boring and stupid the only thing about it is Sarandons Jewish accent I guess she's a Jewish mother that's all America news about we never heard about the Italian mothers or the black mothers it's always the Jewish mothers. This movie is so boring it makes Ovaltine drinkers everywhere look like members of hells Angels. It's so boring I'm so ridiculous and it's film like somebody had a new video camera left over from the 90s and followed them around. It's bad the only thing worse than this movie is Susan sarandon the calling, now that was even worse than this one it's a shame that's such a beautiful woman what sucks chalant does crap like this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Really horrible........
Main character was grossly irritating. This is a "message" movie, and I think it's message is that "we" are supposed to be nicey-nice and overlook behavior that is waaay over the top, and unpleasant, and also stupid. That would be the politically-correct "lesson" we are supposed to get from this movie. I detested the main character so much, that if I hadn't been doing some kitchen work at the time, I would've gone over and taken it out of the VCR/dvd player. And to imagine that a critic "hailed" this movie as very affecting and whatever other stuff he came up with. Awful. About as awful to me as the older movie Blind Date.
