    I have just got my Ham License and starting to gear up. My first radio is a KG-UV8H an 8-watt HT and even be able hit a couple of local repeaters I wanted to see what an outside antenna would do. I order this Slim Jim, and a window pass through and now have it hanging about 15 FT up a tree right outside my window and man it does a great job. I have added 3 more repeaters one is 37 miles away. When I replaced this at home, it will be part of my camping set up to hang up in camp. VERY HAPPY
