    Roomba j7 does a great job cleaning our home

    We previously had a Roomba 980 which finally died after getting into pet poo for the 3rd time. The Roomba J7+ does a good job of avoiding objects and allows us to map out each room and designate keep out zones. After each cleaning we are presented with pictures of objects it encountered, and we have options like marking a temporary obstacle so the Roomba will attempt to clean in that area again, or add a keep out zone for the area. I really enjoy the convenience of the self emptying bin feature. I was having to empty our previous 980 multiple times each time it cleaned. I am cleaning our Roomba j7 once weekly to remove pet hair that collects on the rollers and side brush, removing the bin filter to tap it on the trash can to get some of the dirt out, and cleaning the charging contacts ...

    Perfectly Autonomous

    Friends tell of un-sticking their robots from various entanglements. Ours has run for two weeks and not one time did it get stuck. They also mention theirs runs out of energy before it returns to the base. Ours always knows when to head home to recharge. Ours empties completely every time -- one time, I noticed it ran itself through the "extraction" cycle three times to dislodge something that must have been stuck. Smart bot! It also is incredibly smart. Somehow, I can move its base around and it finds home, even on different floors! Oh, and it cleans very well -- look at the reviews on Vacuum Wars.

    Love!

    So far soo great! We have ALOT of fury and feathered friends, soo this vacuum is fantastic. I schedule 2 cleanings a day. Battery lasts super long and I actually have clean floors everyday! Love the self emptying feature. I've owned other vacuums and if you forgot to empty the dust bin, then you'd come home to dirty floors and a vacuum still charging cause it had a scheduled clean, but no room in the dust bin. We have had it now for, I believe, a little over a week, not sure exactly. Lookin forward to continually clean floors! Hopefully it keeps it up!

    So far, so good.

    I have used the j7+ 5 times so far. It vacuums well, both area rugs and laminate floors. The iRobot is still refining its map. I look forward to the completion of the map. I enjoy the scheduling feature. The machine and I are both learning.

    My new best friend Hazel

    I love it. It moves back and forth instead of random which is much more efficient and cleans better. Also, since my husband has had back surgery and I'm trying to avoid surgery, it is a miracle not to have to run a vacuum. Now does it get every tiny piece, no, but haven't you looked after vacuuming and said I just vacuumed, how did I miss that?
