Lots of capacity without the big price
This generator truly is a beast. Lots of power and all of the basic requirements for planned use in areas with no power and also for those emergency back up requirements when power outages happen and you need your fridge and furnace or air conditioner. Plenty enough power to run my well pump, fridge, freezer, and room air conditioner simultaneously. Looking in to a natural gas adapter for the carburetor for continuous operation if required. Not made for dual systems

Almost Perfect !!!
This 12,000 watt Gen. is for sure a Powerful unit. I had been using the DuroMax XP10000 Dual Fuel in the past with No issues until I just had to replace my 3 Ton Central A/C unit. The XP10000 would run my 3 Ton unit without a problem, but after 24 years of use with no problems it finally gave up. I replaced my old 3 ton to a more efficient 4 Ton scroll compressor system. The DuroMax XP 10000 would not run this new A/C. But after hooking up this New XP 12000 my A/C kicks right on with no problems. There are however 2 issues but are of no real problem. First problem is you must keep the Lifting handle closest to the muffler in the raised position when running the Gen. The exhaust outlet is too close to the handle and will get hot enough to melt the rubber grip. Second issue is the engine is a tad bit lean on the idle mixture. While at idle it is a little rough. Slightly closing the choke will smooth it right out and run smooth and a little higher idle speed. Also they really need to be installing a simple hour meter on these units. Otherwise it is a Great Whole Home Standby Generator. I will eventually be installing the Tri-Fuel Snorkel unit on this to mainly be able to run it on Natural Gas.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No reason to hire a home generator company
So, historically we have purchased large expensive standby home generators for our homes. This time we tried 2 of these 12k beasts. Very impressed for the money. Using 1 on each panel (320amp service) with lockouts. We prefer the manual setup now knowing that auto switches tend to go bad, and they're expensive. We now have 24k watts to run our entire house for a bit over 1,300.00. Way better than the $8000-15000 that companies charge you to install a system. Power is power. The BEAST LIVES!!
The BEAST is an Awesome generator. It is smooth and pretty quiet considering it's output. Low 70's DB's. Love it. It will run my house, window A/C, TV/internet, frig, fan's, wash/dryer if needed, some lamps, and my guitar, and probably my neighbors house in an emergency no problem. Extra plugs provided for the larger breakers is great. The larger capacity gas tank extends run time. Oh and I love the Electric start. Great value for the money.
Brought it for whole house standby. Haven't needed to use it for that yet. During test run it started very quickly, I ran some heavy draw tools - gear reduction saws , with no effort. Love the idle control, should save fuel at night when the furnace is needed. The thing that impressed me most was how quiet it is!!! Not as good as I expected.
I wish to say right at the start, the company I purchased the generator from were great. In a way I feel sorry for them and a lot of distributors, because of having to buy their merchandise from China. The first thing that I noticed after the assembly process was that the solid tires were flat, because of the weight of the generator. I purchased some solid rubber ones from Home Depot and problem was solved. The last thing I will mention is there are a lot of plastic parts on the motor, carburetor, and frame.
