Decent replacement for a B&D 18V battery
Good replacement for a B&D 18V battery. We use the battery on a B&D trimmer. the reason we ordered a replacement is that the original battery lasts for about 15 minutes (if that) when trimming. We figured it was the age of the battery (2012). I couldn't find a OEM replacement, so went with this after market replacement. For the price, I figured to give it a try. The battery has an extra terminal not on the original, but with a little 'wiggling' we were able to make it work. While the initial usage didn't last long, hoping that with use it will be longer each time (hopefully it's not the trimmer shortening the battery usage).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

almost worthless purchase.

The battery shown in the ad was the heavier battery (black and orange), the one sent was just black. The difference is that the black and orange weighs 29.5 oz and the blck weighs 26 oz. The difference in weight is because the cells in the black one are smaller and do not hold a charge as long. I would say this was deceptive advertising.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
