Here's how they packed it: open box - toss item into the bottom of the box, take some paper packing and toss it on top of item, close box, tape the seam, apply shipping label. I received the item. Shook box slightly - and you could hear the item rattling around inside the box. The item was 19 inches long - and the box was 36 inches long. Item was not damaged. If I spoke with the seller, I would suppose this reply, "We didn't do it."

    Love this heater so much

    Absolutely great value better than anything you can get on TV. Beautiful and keeps my great room nice and comfortable. Delivery was super fast I can't say enough about this Duraflame heater. I am saving money not turning on my central heat or my big Hearth fireplace without dollars going up the chimney in natural gas. I have bought four of these heaters two for myself and two as gifts.

    Very dissapointed but a stunning looking fire

    I purchased this from the US for my Home in the UK !! not a good idea as the Voltage in the US is 120 and the UK 240 my heater would not work it kept on shutting down saying E3 overheat so a fire without heat and now the whole unit does not work !! very disappointed however when the fire was alight it was stunning unfortunately very short lived for me and now I am £400 out of pocket what with purchasing a voltage converter too

    I was so pleased with the Duraflame 3D Infared stove!

    I would highly recommend this product to everyone! Not only does it provide excellent comfort, but it also gives the feeling of total relaxation with the fireplace effect! I was so pleased that I purchased three of them. I own a very old Victorian home which is heated with a boiler system, that although is a very good heating system, but is too expensive to maintain. These Duraflame heaters are so comfortable as well as a very decorative piece that totally captures the beauty of my home!

    Like it. Don't love it.

    It's a nice looking heater. The flames are realistic looking and it seems to be built pretty well. I'm just not thrilled with the amount of heat it kicks out. I think it'd be perfect for a small to medium size room, but 1,000 Sq. feet room is pushing it in my opinion. If you could get by without the cool flames, you could find a cheaper heater that puts out the same amount of heat...or more.

    Nice heater!

    Looks fantastic and does a great job heating a small area. If not too cold, and given ample time, 1000 sq ft room could be comfortable. Fire is very realistic, and it doesn't get too hot (cat loves to sleep on top.)
