I guess you get what you pay for. This is an old version. I have had the newer version and loved them except the battery only lasted 2-3 years. This one would be great if it used an USB charging cable instead of a dedicated charge. Who needs another cord. Otherwise works ok but the battery does not stay charged for very long even if not used.

The sound is ok for my needs . The problem I have is that when the battery is low ( battery life is only about four hours) it emits a high pitch sound. This is resolved by plugging in the speaker. Anyway, I wish I had spent my money on a new speaker.

Got another for my niece la year ago , yours went to my wife . All of them sound fantastic.
