My review of the 6gb 1060 gigabyte wind force Pretty high temps compared to rx580 4gb & msi hurricane and the g1 by 1060 gigabyte by about 5-10 degrees Celsius design isn’t as effective for cooling at all. Then I bought a used one and less than 2 weeks after purchase one of the fans started rattling like crazy so I kept an eye on it and eventually go figure not to my surprise but my ears thanked me when it finally decided to stop spinning horrible noise lol it would clack against the housing over and over making this dreaded clicking sound that can be heard throughout the house but lucky me because I decided to waterblock the gigabyte g1 and planned to do it to the wind force but sadly couldn’t find one anywhere. Ended up using the fan from the g1 1060 6gb gigabyte and installing them on the wind force why not the old ones were from 2016 quite a bit ago lol. Over all 7/10 product would I recommend it to anyone no if you can get a good deal on it yes. If you have one I’d say keep it. Or sell it depending how much you paid it’s good for what it is no complaints mining gaming is very good low power about 90 watts to mine 20mh pretty efficient no where near a 3070 but is still pretty good for older model. I purchased this card as a replacement for a GTX-650 ti so of course there was an enormous improvement in performance. It is amazingly quiet and runs very cool. Even under heavy load the dual fans are not distracting. When the system is idling or running applications which are not graphics intensive such as email or simple web browsing the fans operate very little or not at all. After running the Furmark GPU stress test for and extended period the GPU temperature never exceeded 75-78 degrees with the fans spinning at about 60% of their maximum speed.

Card arrived in good and clean condition. Appears to work as expected for this card, which is good cause it's likely been a mining card. This could have meant a dusty card with some heat damage but everything seems fine thus far Only reason I dont give 5 stars is really just down to that the card itself being an underwhelming mid range part. I'm upgrading from a 7950, which although a higher end AMD card for its time, is a 7 year old card. I would have hoped mid range (at a similar price when purchasing new to what I paid for the 7950) would be a bit better than only twice the performance of such an old card. But that's Nvidia's market monopoly.

Going from sli twin gts 450. Gtx 1060 is a beast. Wish i had made the swap sooner. Gaming in 4k is where its at. Coupled with a 55in uhd tv as a monitor equals gaming bliss. Love the card! Wonder how a newer one would be?!?! Hmmm.....

Now I did just hook this up tonight, but it found both monitors like it should. I can set both to 144hz with the DVI which is should. I tried on Fortnite and with epic setting (the ones that count) I get between 120-220 FPS. Perfect and thanks!
