It's very great for beginners :)
I'm someone who never ever works out or has any physical activity except for walking to and from destinations which is bad. I haven't stretched my muscles since maybe grade 10??? which was 3 years ago. Using this dvd, it made my bones and tissues/muscles (whatever theyre called) very uncomfortable obviously because I havent stretched or had any physical activity in a while. There were movements in the dvd that I never knew could be used to stretch out muscles and tissues . But after getting used to the dvd (few minutes in) It felt nice and I felt Like it could be something I do everyday. Even though it's not cardio, I felt really refreshed and energized :) it was a nice feeling. But of course there are times where I get lazy and don't stretch with this dvd for Like a month. Great stretching program.
This stretching workout has 3 parts: standing, sitting on a chair, and floor work. Each part is about 1o minutes long, and you can mix and match them. The cueing is excellent, she makes it easy to follow along. I found a couple of the moves beyond my capabilities, but that has more to do with my physical limitations and not with the video. The whole thing is very calming, nice beach scenery, relaxing music, pleasant instructor's voice. She moves at a steady pace, neither too fast nor too slow. I felt wonderful afterwards.
