    Another DOA Remo

    Avoid at all cost. This was my 5th purchase of a GoPro Remo. All 5 were dead on arrival. GoPro discontinued this voice remote when they realized saving a couple of dollars per unit by installing cheap Li-on batteries, instead of quality batteries, was not good for for their bottom line.

    Don’t waste your money

    These should have been recalled by Gopro. It is 99% impossible to get a working new one, because the cheep battery drains to an un- rechargeable point if it sits to long. A used one may still work if the battery has been properly maintained but not for to long so it’s disposable at best.

    DOA like many others have reported

    While the newer GoPro smart remote is also terrible, this one it seems there's no replacement battery available so when it dies, as these old stock new in box items mostly have, they can't easily be repaired.

    Defektive GoPro REMO - will not charge. Needs battery replacement. Have ordered new battery - then hopefully I can get it working !
