About this product

Product Information

Based on an original story by Richard Knaak, a writer for Wizards of the Coast's DragonLance novel series, Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire invites players to pick up their Wii Remotes and wield the power of fire. Long ago, a group of dark dragons betrayed the Fire Dragon and imprisoned him in the Dragon Blade. This magical sword was split into six fragments and each piece hidden in a secret location.

Players take the role of Dal, a descendent of kings who carries the hilt of the shattered sword. Dal must battle through 20 stages and explore six environments to locate each slice, reform the weapon, and defeat the leader of the dark dragons. Gamers face numerous opponents and must hack their way through streams of enemies to defeat six different bosses. For each victory, players gain supernatural powers including a flaming sword, claws, and a fire-breathing head.

  • Lousy game.

The Wii offers dozens of game choices that you can pick up on ebay for around $10, many of which are better than this game. Alien Syndrome, for example, is a solid game that will offers 40 hours or more of entertaintment. My 5 year old nephew seemed to enjoy Dragon Blade (although he kept getting stuck and needed my help), and he was quite enthusiastic about swinging the wii remote like a sword, but if you're a serious gamer, you'll want to pass on this one. You can't control the camera, so you're often stuck not being able to see your character or the enemy, so you're often fighting while looking only at a wall. The controls are very simple, a 3 hit combo system is all you'll have. Eventually, you can unlock differnt dragon moves. You hit a button, your arm turns into a fiery dragon arm ...

  • Simple, yet Exciting & Challenging

This is a classic "Hack & Slash" game. The implementation of the Wii Remote motion controls allow an awesome array of attack moves, yet the overall game control is simple enough for anyone to master. Harnessing the power of a dragon, you can punch, uppercut, swipe, pound the ground, smash enemies between your hands & more!! An excellent buy at an even better price!!

  • Used Wii Game - Dragon Blade

The game was in excellent condition for a used game and was shipped extremely fast. My son said the game plays very well and is very entertaining. A+. As with all the wii games, this game is very interactive, with several levels to play. Using the nunchuck along with the wii remote you battle through different stages fighting characters with your sword and special abilities that you acquire throughout the game. Each level ends with a boss fight of some type of dragon.

  • Fun to play

It is fun to play, but a little bit repetitive. The graphics are good and controls are easy to use. I recommend that game.

  • Dragon Blade: Suprisingly fun.

I got this very cheap with free shipping thinking it wouldn`t be much good, but I`ve really had a good time with it so far. You have to swing your controller around like a sword. The further along you get, the more powers you`ll be able to use. Sometimes a tree, rock, or something gets in your way, + it`s hard to see what you`re trying to fight, but that doesn`t happen too often. There are some very minor puzzles to be solved (collecting armor upgrades), and some seriously difficult bosses: a combination of dragons and dragon powered people. I paid a lot less, but it`d be a good deal at $25.
