Pure. Popcorn. Entertainment. That's an exact classification of director Michael Bay's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Think of Transformers 1 on crack. In other words, this sequel took all of the extreme elements that made fans love the first movie and increased them exponentially. The action is nonstop, with battles and explosions from start to finish. The camera (without any subtlety) exploits Megan Fox's hotness to the max. As if she weren't enough, a new sex kitten (Isabel Lucas) is thrown into the equation. Shia LaBeouf is as charismatic as ever, and fills the starring role with ease. And then there's the humor. Sam's parents (Kevin Dunn and Julie White)provided some semi-raunchy laugh-out-loud moments in the first movie, but now they take it to the ...

  • Epic Production Honestly

There is no denying Director Michael Bay ('Bad Boys', 'The Rock', 'Armaggedon', 'Pearl Harbor', 'Bad Boys II') has a talent for "Over-The-Top", CGI-enhanced theatrics. After misfiring with 'The Island', Bay got back-to-roots with "Transformers", a high-octane symphony of machine battling, explosions and itense cinematography; all the while blowing everything to pieces. "Transformers" opens when U.S. Soldiers on a base in Qatar find themselves under a sudden and merciless assault. The foe is eventually revealed to be Extraterrestrial; part of the Murdero...Read full reviewus Decepticon Robot Race. In a powerfully effective scene it gets the movie off hard. • Awesome!!

Clocking in at nearly two and a half hours, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen rumbles into theaters Wednesday as a slam-bang exercise in shock-and-awe cinema. Director Michael Bay ups the ante on his 2007 hit Transformers by hurling even more massive amounts of swirling, twirling, machine-crunching robot action onto the screen. Industrial Light & Magic’s photorealistic CGI ‘bots interact seamlessly with star Shia La Beouf and other cast members against a backdrop of huge explosions and military firepower. t’s an impressive display of digital effects, but bigger, faster, louder and longer do not necessarily equal better. Bay’s famous fondness for blowing up stuff threatens to overwhelm the senses in Round 2 of the ongoing grudge match that pits evil, alien Decepticon robots ...

  • Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a 2009 American science fiction action film, directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. It is the sequel to Transformers (2007) and the second film in the live action Transformers series. The plot resolves around Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf), the human caught in the war between Autobots and Decepticons, having visions of Cybertronian symbols, getting hunted by the Decepticons under the orders of their long-trapped leader, The Fallen, who seeks revenge on Earth by finding and activating a machine that would provide the Decepticons with an energon source, destroying all life on the planet in the process. With deadlines jeopardized by possible strikes by the Directors Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild, Bay managed to finish ...

  • Way better than the first!

This movie is a must have! Its over 2Hrs 30 mins and is way worth watching it! There is a lot of action, comedy, and will notice issues talked about today such as Swine Flu. I thought that was really interesting how they incorporated current issues in the movie. Furthermore, in Transformers 2 you see more detail of the transformers changing from the vehicle to the robot; I mean you see more of the tiny pieces transforming which is really neat to watch. There are many special effects in the movie. The 2 popular songs used in the movie is Linkin Park's: New Divide and Green Day's: 21 Guns! You can hear these 2 songs throughout the movie, which are great! For the DVD, the Special Edition is a great buy because there are many features you can watch and the makings of the ...
