About this product

Product Information

Set in a world where witches who abuse their considerable powers are becoming increasingly problematic, WITCH HUNTER ROBIN follows the group known as STN, a team of craft-users formed to combat these rogue witches. This group's most powerful member, Robin, is a woman who can command bursts of deadly flames. To survive the dark and dangerous world of witchcraft, STN will have to rely on Robin's relatively untested facility with her powers. This box set collects all 26 episodes in the series.

  • Witch Hunter Robin LE Box

I love this series. I think the animation and character designs are beautiful, and the story is great. The only thing I took a point off for was the box design, since I'm reviewing for the first American boxset release, not the newer, cheaper version. For a limited edition boxset, they should have used a little more common sense! It's rather awkward to get the DVDs foldout out of the 'box' part, which is shaped like a book, and keeps coming unglued. Another thing I thought was kind of dumb is that the discs are not numbered. So you have to check the inside of the box (it has an episode listing on there) to make sure you have them in order, if you have them all out at once (for a multiple disc DVD player). Anyways...I suppose the pins are kind of cute, but...unless you're worried about ...

  • Serious anime without being overbearing

This is one of my favorite anime sets because the story is very well layered, built in steps that require that you pay attention to seemingly innocent conversations throughout the early episodes. Unlike most anime series featuring teens, this one has a decent balance of awkward teenage social faux pas with prodigious behavior (Robin's an advanced craft user so she's gotta be a bad-a$$ on occasion). I often recommend this set as a "primer" for adults who haven't ever gotten into anime but who want to know what all the fuss is about, because it contains the subtle drama that makes a series addictive without being silly or obnoxious - and the theme music rocks.

  • Great anime! Witch Hunter Robin Complete Collection

Watched this on tv and really liked the anime. It is one of those anime where you wished there could be more beyong the ending, but it was still satisfying and implied. Loved this anime so much, decided to buy the complete set. This is definitely worth having, especially when I get together with friends and induct them into the world of anime-fandom. This set specifically came with the entire DVD collection, a cel of Robin and 3 pins (STN, Amon, Robin). It's a must have for Witch Hunter fans! There are other sets, but hard to find. Another I have seen has the soundtrack and other cool items. Make sure you get a complete set and don't pay a ridiculus price for it.

  • Power to the Withces...!

I loved every single aspect of this movie. Don't be discouraged by the title, the series is great! Although, be warned...if you purchase the DVD's, the creators in Japan have a funny way of doing things. For example, the normal intros that were present when the Cartoon Network aired the sereis about a year ago are at the end of each episode. It's just something small, there's a few others. Keep in mind that's how Japan created the series initially, so don't think you bought pirated DVD's. Well, gotta go...
