I love the book. Looks brand new. Too bad the usps mangled and scuffed it up in the mailing/shipping. Came in the horrid mail quickly though. And I’m pleased with this book. It’s full of valuable information on the stars.

Love the Wil Tirion starmaps. Repeat buyer!

I have one of these that I use outside. Like all of the field guides, it is made to hold up to a little bit of abuse. Mine got really damp so the pages aren’t flat anymore, but it’s totally still useable. I bought a second copy for my bookshelf, and a third for my Astronomy Professor, because this book was written before Pluto’s designation was changed. He loves it! Wil Tirion makes the best maps of the sky. A stellar inclusion for any enthusiast.

  • Audubon Field Guide is best I have had for quick astronomy tips and sky viewing.

The National Audubon Field Guide to the night sky is the best I have received after ordering several guides for beginners. Can't wait to get back in the field.

  • I find it very useful.

It has a very convenient pocketable size. It's full of color plates of star charts and moon phases.
