trailer hitch is solid, but lbe aware it is very low!!
I received this hitch in a reasonably fast fashion, and it is working well with my 2003 VW Beetle Turbo. The model the books/U-Haul, etc. say isn't shown on their fitment lists). I did have to cut a little of the bottom of the rear fascia panel to get the receiver end to fit flush. Installed, it is quite low, so I have to be very careful going over speed bumps, dips in the road, and railroad crossings. But other than that, it is doing a great job for me. I have already used it five times to haul my bike/rack to surrounding greenways, so it is already paying for itself. I plan to go today and get a motorcycle; I have full confidence it will be able to handle the U-Haul trailer with motorcycle loaded. The round trip is going to be over a hundred miles.
