  • The book was okay not great just okay!

I have been reading Kafka and I didn't realize that I had read this book several years earlier. The novel is an Idealist look at America assuming everything is like an old movie where everything is perfect at the end. Life is not that way in America or any where else. Kafka believed that when he wrote this book that if you just could get to America life would be perfect. Later in life he meet some very rude Americans and was disappointed and wondered why he had written such a book. If your going to read Kufka I would suggest you need to read other novels he wrote. His character development is good and his description of places and people's character and quick scenes are probably his high points as a writer in this book but the plot is dead.

  • AMERIKA BY KAFKA

RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND IN PRISON. A VERY HIGHLY INTELLIGENT PERSON WHO HAPPENED TO BE MISDIRECTED IN LIFE
