    Has totally change our internet experience. Highly recommend this product. We are at the end of a DSL trunk line with the worst speed and service imaginable. This has made our computer and all other connected accessories faster, prompt and enjoyable. We are no longer swearing at our devices because downloading takes forever. Highly recommend.

    I should have read the reviews

    Generally Netgear Nighthawks,AC protocol, are top of the heap as an upgrade from "N" protocol type routers. This particular one isn't. after installing, upgrading the firmware, and testing the speed around the house, I see no benefit from changing and in some cases, worse that before.

    Worked as we hoped it would.

    I needed a router that broadcast to the back of our house. It increased my Roku speed from 18 Mbps to 52 Mbps. This makes a world of difference in my Spectrum Roku app. Before it would have trouble 100% of the time recording and watching the same show. It would have trouble sporadically recording if we were watching a different show. With the higher speed, we have not had problems.

    Best one yet for a large house

    Put this into action in our 1906 plaster walled, lead painted, 3 story home and I can now stream video from anywhere in the house, even the detached garage. It is light years ahead of the rented wifi router that Time Warner Cable was supplying and the configuration interface is really simple to use. Air print works well on the network and the feature that allows you to plug in a portable hard drive to act as a network drive is really useful. It is pricey, but a google search for lowest price put it almost $100 less than most online sellers.
