Searching for those elusive golf secrets
At the age of 64, I'm returning to playing golf after being away for 15 years. I decided with my "comeback" to learn more about the short game. It's important; with aging I've lost considerable distance with all shots, so getting the ball close from 100 yards in and being better at putting is important. These are well produced, Phil Michelson has a pleasant speaking voice, and the information is well presented. I recommend these instructional DVD's highly. Phil Mickelson: Secrets of the Short Game
I'm a big Tiger fan, but I know that Phil has the best short game going. 50 yards and in is the worst part of my game. So I got a good deal on the DVD thru Ebay. This is a big production video with high quality color and sound, that moves at a good pace. I was very impressed with how Phil explained every part of the short game in concise and easy to follow steps. Really, it's all based on one basic set up that works for chipping, pitching, bunkers and even the flop shot. It looks like this simple advise is able to be taken to the course, without having to think about twelve different things at a time. I also liked that he debunks all the tips and advise out there that leads to more problems and over complicate the swing. I feel at ease with my putting game, but Phil points out some ... Must-have for every golfer
The must-have DVD for the avid golfer. 50% of your score comes from the short game. Phil is the master. This DVD is very much worth having at your disposal. Drills really help with shorts I struggle with. Over all really great.

Phil Mickelson's secret that work
I have always admired how people could make outstanding recoveries from some of the most terrible T-shots. Phil is the best I have ever seen at those recoveries. If you follow Phil's ideas and instructions you will shot a better game. I have had this DVD for 4 weeks and have already lowered my score by 10 strokes. All of this is because of the around the green shots. The guys are amazed not only that I am willing to take some of the shots I am around the green but to actually make some of the shots I make. This is an awesome DVD. Phil, I cannot wait for you to do another. I know that you have only scratched the surface in the instructional video world. I hope one day to see you in person. LIKES: I like the presentation and the information Phil teaches in these Dvds. You can use the same basic club strokes for bunkers, short, mid, and long chips. I have already seen improvement in my short game. DISLIKES: None. Why did I purchase: I have watched several Dvds and read several books on how to build a good short game. I was able to make some things work and had problems with others. Knowing that Phils short game is very good and possible the best in the PGA Tour, I decided to take a chance and buy his Dvds.
