Lightweight with great balance. Not great for arthritic thumb
I really like the style and design. It is very versatile and can cut multiple plant items. I like how the blades rotate - it makes the pruner very versatile. However, I have rheumatoid arthritis in my palm and thumb. I'd used these pruners once and thought they were perfect so I bought my own. However after using them twice, I realized that even with light resistance, I experienced shooting pains. Too bad. I think they'll be great for most other people.I really like the style and design. Greatest pruners I've ever used!
Easily cuts large branches with minimal effort. I can use these for hours whereas regular pruners tire my arm out with 20 minutes of use. They last for years. The cheap pruners I used to buy would break within a year and I've had 2 pairs of the PowerGear pruners and each lasted 6 years. The second pair was free because Fiskars honored the lifetime warranty and replaced the first broken pair free.
