The 60’s and 70’s would not die young after watching this DVD for the first time. Vietnam War, antiwar protests, 1968, government controversy, neglected media in a frenzy type of witness and the memory on those said events. These events also include Chile, Bolivia and the Soviet invasion. This DVD hits hard not of 68, but 67’, you’re into another insight never to be seen before. Political turmoil & highlighted fragments into another translation in time so to speak. OH but the idealistic youth of that time and another popular saying “Old America,” that can never overcome died and buried relics. This documentary footage generates World War III movement in the insight of Chris Marker. A time capsule that may or may not blight the ignorance of the world to come, remember napalm, revolutionary times, plain out murder. Maybe a film DVD like this one can become recognition for future reckoning. Not rated, 180 minutes, Color, this DVD covers ten years from 1967 to 1977, a look back in time. I rated film 5*****, makes you think and try to understand, why? Are we a race that just cant find anything to tear down because of race or creed. Nobody looks back and never notices that at one point in time all the continents use to be one continent. Excellent DVD, highly recommended.Read full review
