It was difficult to install until I disabled my antivirus program. Not much advancement since Elements 8. It still cannot import ARW files from my new Sony Camera and I have no idea why. GIMP can do better.

I purchase Premiere Elements, because I wanted a basic photoshop program and I needed to be able to put text on photos something I could not do with iphoto. I originally was using PhotoShop. Once my computer crashed I was never able to recover it, so This is working for now and the price was perfect. I liked the price point and is very easy to use, my only dislike was it was tricky to installed due to security issues. However Adobe customer service was great on the phone. I would most definite will buy a upgrade and recommend this product for a photographer that is on a budget or student. It will do a lot of editing you need. Right now I use Elements, i photo and Aperture and I don't need any other programs to do all my editing, color correction, text even removing unwanted objects. Element is really easy to use and not as overwhelming as Photoshop CS6. I'm sure in the future I will want CS6, but for now this is doing what I want it to do. I only wish that ADOBE provided support. The software is no longer compatible with most recent upgrade of MAC OS10 SIERRA. Sadly I had to migrate to PIXELMATOR. Pixelmator works just as good if not better than Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 and Pixelmator has product support.

Great product, very happy with this photo shop elements 11. I would recommend this product to my friends. The video editor was a huge bonus. Pretty easy to use and very fun to play around with out photos.
