  • Magnficent band, Magnificent product - A MUST OWN !!

An extremely high quality production revealing so very much about one of rock's most beloved bands. Traces the story of this "everyman's band" from formation to end. The performance clips reveal the power, drive and authority of the "pre-dudes" group known for awesome live shows but dismal record sales. Then addresses the transformation to the "suits and platform boots" glammers. And Mott was always the most rocking of the glam crowd. The extras are magnificent. Overall - a poignant, irony filled, masterful documentary - the best I've ever owned. To top it off, it's also value-laden with an extended run time including live clips from the reunion shows in London. I cannot recommend this higher to all fans of MTH and anyone who wants to see what they were all about. BTW, 72 year old ...

  • Great documentary!

It’s full of things I never knew about Ian Hunter and Mott The Hoople. I loved the band since the 70’s. In my opinion, the most underrated rock band of all time.

  • An absolute MUST for any MOTT fan!!!!

VINDICATED ! At last I don't feel alone in being such a huge Mott fan. Not much new info here for me as " I know the band so well " The 2009 reunion was an absolute dream come true for me. This D.V.D. takes it a step further! In my opinion the Best thing to happen to rock'roll in the early 70's . A MASTERPIECE !!!!!!!!!!!!
