    Value for money bridge camera

    As an owner of a Nikon D5500 DSLR I'm used to a decent camera but I thought I'd try a used bridge camera as a sometimes alternative option. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of use and the quality of the photos as they were relatively sharp even the zoomed in ones. Nice and light and in pretty good condition so definitely value for money

    Great Travel camera!

    I’ve had a RX 100 series camera before and didn’t realize how small it actually is but that makes it easy to carry. Picture quality is very good and I love that it’s great in low light. I’m very pleased with it and would highly recommend it. The menu system is a little convoluted but so are other brands.

    as well as taking great photos and awesome movies this camera is fun to use

    i wanted to move up from a compact to a bridge, this ticked all the boxes compared to its rivals. lots of cool features such as the panorama modes, the 3d option, fantastic 30x optical zoom and full hd movies, just to name a few. i haven't used other bridge cameras so i have no actual comparison to other cameras, i read dozens of reviews before choosing the sony, and i am extremely happy with my choice.

    Sony DSC HX100C

    My wife always complained that when we go back over our old digital photo's we cannot always remember where they were taken. With the Sony I believe we have overcome this problem. The only comment I would make is that when using the GPS facility the time between shots is delayed. The answer is to take the first few photos with GPS and maybe the last and then just revert to normal photography without the GPS switched on.

    GO FOR THIS ONE YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY YOU DID.

    Bought this after returning a fuji hs20 ( after developing a fault )picture quality between the two about the same except the sony is a lot better when shooting in low light with less grain The image stability is superb, and when using the manual zoom with the fuji in video mode it was a nightmare. definitely recommend this camera out the two,got a good deal on ebay plus money off from sony so very pleased I ended up with this one.only bad point is there is no thread to mount a filter to protect the lens but if you look on YOU TUBE you will find a good adapter to overcome this and I agree the reds are over saturated as commented by other users.
