    Good Dog Carl

    Being a "Carl" I was intrigued by the title for my great grandson. The book was in great shape, with delivery before expected. The concept of a series of pictures and you make up the story is clever and most appealing to me as a retired pediatrician. Developing your imagination and verbal rendering of this is , I believe, most important, even to an old dog Carl.

    "Good Dog, Carl"

    They say you always remember your first; nothing could be more true of "Good Dog, Carl" the first of the "Carl" series of books. This is for my SECOND collection of the "Carl" books. My children loved them, I've given them as baby gifts with stuffed rotties, and now I start a new collection of Carl books for my grandchild. The books are beautifully illustrated and gives adults the opportunity to spend some special time in thought and conversation with little ones. It also helps to soften the bad reputation rotties and big dogs in general for some people, having had rotties of my own. We love Carl and anyone with a heart will be sweetend by him too.

    Good Dog, Carl

    I loved reading this book to my own children when they were young, and now am giving this delightful book to a new mom to read to her little one. They are dog lovers so they will especially love Carl. The book has words only at the beginning and the end, allowing the reader to tell the story is his/her own words. The pictures are adorable and fun.

    Good Dog Carl books by Alexandra Day

    These books are incredible! My twin 2 year olds LOVE them. These books only have words on the first and last page of the books. They encourage children to develop language skills by creating their own story by telling you what they see in the pictures. I can't say enough wonderful things about these books. I promise you wont be disappointed!

    Good book!

    Such a good dog! The book is in great condition. Carl looks just like my daughter's Duane, which is why I bought the book and gave it to her. Amazing artwork with very few words.
