    History of the Quarter Horse

    An informative history of our foundation sires and dams in the Quarter horse industry. Filled with not often written facts. A MUST FOR ANY SERIOUS QUARTER HORSE BREEDER I highly recommend this series of books to anyone who wants to know the history of our breed.

    Seeing history unfold before your very eyes.

    These Western Horseman,"Legends" books are absolutely great! They give a wonderful background history, (with authentic pictures) into some of the top quarter horses in their day, and the American Quarter Horse Foundation's beginning history. This book details these great horses, along with their offspring, and what they did that made them great or enriched the quarter horse world and advanced the breed to the greatness quarter horses are today. Going back and reading the different articles, seeing the pictures, with breeders, owners or trainers is like stepping back in time, and greatness. A serious book for the serious horseman.

    Worth your time and money

    I purchased this book based on 2 of the horses written about are in the sire line of are own horse. The bios are well written and easy to read.Ihave the other books in the series and recommend them to other quarter horse owners as well.
