    Complex Story

    This book is well-written. The characterization is planned out. The chase scenes are thrilling and the deaths aren't one-note. Plus, things play out in a realistic manner (i.e. the ending and the aftermath of the last conversation Jack has with his soon-to-be ex-girlfriend.) None of the Unintentionally unsympathetic plot notes that plagued one of the characters in the adaptation. I wish the female lead wouldn't resort to double standards when faced with the truth.
