Least destructive of the Guerilla Arts
This is a positive approach to the "Guerilla Arts" as the author calls them - mostly autonomous and creative approaches to leaving chalk notes, flower seed bombs and stickers. It doesn't really cover much of the more destructive graffiti tagging and things that are perceived as property damage. A good start for creating random acts of thoughtfulness or make-your-own stickers. The approach is strong on respect and positive vibes for getting yourself out there. Excellent book for the Revolutionist in you!
Hello fellow revolutionists (muah hahaha, or soon to be), I found this book very interesting and amusing. After having perused it previously at Elliot Bookstore (RIP) in Seattle, I was intrigued. I soon realized that there is more to this little book than meets the eye. Walking around Seattle in the downtown district, I found similar works of other artists that emulated what this book was mentioning (but of course, the book does not condone such behavior, LOL). I definetly recommend you to read this book if you are an artist-in-the-closet, an artist period, or an Ingenius Boiling Pot of Creativity and Mischief (that's me!). A closer look at this book gave me some interesting ideas to change the landscape around me and really let my passion for art speak out in a totally different ...
