Reviews
The Sea Glass Murders is a fine mystery that offers twists, turns, and unexpectedly intriguing moments ... a fast-paced story filled with quirky moments, tense confrontations, revelations, and strong characters that draw readers into the mystery with a compelling saga indeed., The Sea Glass Murders succeeds with an original story and an original heroine ... a jewel of a tale., The Sea Glass Murders is a police procedural, a medical mystery, a thriller, and a crafty maniac on the loose. It turns your perspective and distorts your perception, yet it keeps moving towards the truth. The characters have heft and quality. Even the baddies have worth. This book cries out to become a series., Move over Jack Reacher and Harry Bosch, there's a new knight errant of justice in town and her name is Dasha. A retired CIA spy, now living on Connecticut's rich and powerful Gold Coast, she poses as a dotty old lady interested in nothing more than watching the waterfowl on Long Island Sound. But when she teams up with an aging police detective and an ambitious TV reporter to solve a brutal murder, Dasha exposes a trail of corruption that leads to the top of the state's criminal justice system. Tim Cole's riveting new novel is an exquisitely written page-turner that establishes him as a bright new star in the firmament of mystery and thriller writers., Timothy Cole delivers a taut, smart crime thriller with characters so magnetic you'll be craving their next case--in particular Dasha Petrov, who is every bit as formidable as Jack Reacher, though she comes in a very different package., An original mystery novel is like an oyster with a pearl in it: rare, but worth the search. Search no more. In The Sea Glass Murders , Tim Cole succeeds with an original story, an original heroine, and an original supporting cast all the while paying due diligence to the traditions of the genre. The gaps in logic that plague so many mysteries are absent here. What is present is a jewel of a tale., An ice-cold killer is on the loose in tony Westport. A cop with a past, a reporter at loose ends, and an elderly Russian countess full of surprises are on the case. Timothy Cole brings them together in a crash-bang thriller that twists and turns without letup to the bloody end.

Synopsis
A headless corpse tossed in a dumpster unites a small-town cop and a formidable retired lady spy to track a killer hiding in plain sight in a wealthy New England neighbourhood, in the stunning new mystery The Sea Glass Murders. A decapitated body burned to a crisp might be found in any dumpster in any city in America, but not in the aristocratic Gold Coast community of Westport, Connecticut. Local cop Tony DeFranco dutifully collects evidence, knowing that the State Police will take over the case. But when the state investigator tries to cover up the murder, DeFranco starts a rogue investigation. Not knowing if any of his police colleagues can be trusted, DeFranco forms an alliance with two unlikely colleagues -- local TV reporter Tracy Taggart and retired CIA case officer Dasha Petrov, whose elderly, ladylike appearance masks a lifetimes experience with violence and deception. While the trio of investigators track the identity and tragic life of the murder victim, the unknown killer strikes again. And as DeFranco and Taggart develop feelings for one another, it becomes clear that both have become the killers next targets. The body count mounts, and DeFranco must rely on Petrovs insights and skills, acquired over decades of global troubleshooting, to stop a killer operating at the pinnacle of American power... A glimpse at the sordid underside of position and wealth, with a breakout star character in Dasha Petrov, the elderly lady with a glamorous past and a will of steel, this is an action mystery with an immersive, fast-paced plot and unforgettable characters., A headless corpse in a dumpster unites a small-town cop and a formidable retired lady spy to track a killer in a wealthy New England neighborhood. I have purchased from them many times. This time, and on occasion I have had an issue with the product, but the seller is graceful about correcting errors. They do a huge volume and sometimes have sent the wrong book or one of their multiples that does not match the description. With swift communication, the seller always resolves the issue. The shipping speed & packaging is excellent. I will continue buying from this seller!
