    an impressive coffe-table choice.

    With hundreds of huge, detailed photographs and page after page of rich written description, this tome is a lovely addition to any book collection. Adults and children alike are awed at the wild, weird, bold and beautiful creatures and features of our planet as captured in this essential volume. In short, I couldn't be more pleased! A perfect gift for anyone who enjoys animals, travel, or who, like me, just love picture books.

    Beautiful Book

    This book has beautiful pictures - it shows parts of the world and its magnificent animals that most of us will never see! I feel blessed that the photographers and their crews shared their experiences with the rest of the world through this book. This book is a perfect "coffee table" book. You can't resist picking it up and looking through. The Discovery Channel (on Sundays) is currently airing this series - Planet Earth. The book is a great complement to the DVD series and is a great addition to any home or office library.
