If you seriously want to work out, try this one
I am serious about my workouts, have been doing resistance training, weights, running, skiing, snowshoeing, biking, etc for many many years ... but must do weight workouts at home due to both having a new baby and living in extreme rural conditions. That said, I'm often on the lookout for very good, challenging weight workouts on DVD. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. I have come to expect that most DVDs will be too easy and will pander to those who don't workout much. This was the exception. It is straightforward ... no silly little dances or dopey music, it's challenging but not so hard that it feels impossible, had all the basic moves proven to work (squats, lunges, biceps curls, triceps dips, etc...) ... isn't in the least cheesy, and was challenging enough that after my first ... It is straightforward ... no silly little dances or dopey music, it's challenging but not so hard that it feels impossible, had all the basic moves proven to work (squats, lunges, biceps curls, triceps dips, etc...) ... isn't in the least cheesy, and was challenging enough that after my first workout with it I experienced the kind of soreness that tells you that you've really worked hard! If you are serious about your weight routine, or if you want to try weights with someone who knows what they are doing ... definitely invest in this DVD. I'm glad I did.

I ordered this to get myself in shape because my workouts are becoming boring. Jari Love has a complete full body workout. I am more of a beginner and the first time I tried it I pretended to have weights and it still worked my muscles. Jari Love was very positive and encouraging the whole time that it was easy to do the workout and push myself. She also takes the time to do stretches after each exercise to prevent injuries. The last section of the workout was nothing but stretches which was nice for giving yourself a chance to cool down. Also in the background she had her helpers do easy and modified versions of every exercise so that you can see it on all levels. That was very helpful. I disliked the space between the exercises where they told you the proper ways to do each movement. I ... I ordered this to get myself in shape because my workouts are becoming boring. Great workout for all levels
This is a really great workout for almost everyone. I really like that if you are new to working out, you can do this without weights,or, increase the weights as you progress. Several variations are offered for each exercise depending on your fitness level. It's also nice to see how carefully each exercise is demonstrated beforehand and the stretching afterwards. This video has 15 exercises that are straight forward and easy to learn so that you can concentrate on the muscle group you are working. Great for men and women!!!This is a really great workout for almost everyone. Love Love Jari Love!!
I love Jari's personal training style. She makes you feel like she's right at home with you instructing you step by step. She is motivating and challenging. I decided to purchase this tape after spending money for a personal trainer and a gym membership. I wanted to see if I could get a comparable workout on video. I wasn't disappointed. I would recommend this video to all levels of fitness. You get out what you put in. Jari just shows you the way.I love Jari's personal training style. Strictly a weight lifting workout. All the major muscle groups are worked-not much in the abdominals, though. Not much of a cardio effect either. The workout is an hour long, which makes it hard to squeeze into a busy schedule. The pace is very relaxed, and it's suitable for beginners on up-just increase the weight load if you're more advanced.
