  • Texts for school are cheaper

I like that fact that college students can find books on half.com for the least amount of money on Half.com and the fact that we can save a load of money instead of buying texts from over priced college institutes. For example the book I bought was I believe 28$ while the college said that Id have to buy two books for the math class while I had the other book at home so why buy another book you already have? The two books together cost $110 roughly 50-55$ a book which is ridiculous. However the reason I rated average is you branch Half.com never responded to me about the adding a new book to the site catalog I mailed the isbn# and request about 2 months ago and have yet to recieve a notification response. That shows me the disregard of my end of selling yet you send me this automated email ...

  • Book is easy to understand and CD looks good.

I've only just started using this book for my math class. It's a little used, but it's working for the class. So far it's been easy to follow along and understand. It has some good problems and its examples have been good. The CD is attached and looks to be in good shape, but haven't used it yet. I'm hoping it will be easy to work with also.

  • Book ordered was the wrong book for purposes purchased.

The book purchased turned out to be the wrong book for the class it was to be used in. Instead of going through the hassle of re-returning, S&H charges, etc., I chose to sell it at a used bookstore instead. Your service was fine, but truth be told, the book was catastrophic! No two people in the entire class had the same book!! What a mess!!

  • Review- Basic College Mathematics Martin-Gay (2005)

The book is arranged well and provides easy to follow examples. The title "Basic" is correct, I have yet to consult the book for class because the information is pretty elementary. It was required for a college course. I am glad I bought it used from Bookbyte through ebay instead of paying twice the amount in the bookstore.

  • good discription of title

so far so good . I haven't really start full force but it looks like it is going to be a great reference book. b/c we use math labs this is reference for me .
