Yoga Booty Ballet - Latin Flavor & Light N Easy
Two medium to medium-hard routines (depending on whether you do just the motions or really put effort into the workout). Both have nice yoga/abs/ballet sections that compliment the cardio workout. I agree that the "new age" mantra stuff is a little bothersome for some, but I ignore that part and just stretch and breathe while they go through their lectures. A super set of 3 DVDs for beginners to advanced!
Absolutely LOVE these 3 DVDs. I have never done yoga before (or ballet for that matter) but my niece was very encouraging about these 3 DVDs. When I received them, I viewed each one and saw that the moves were simple - even the ballet moves - and incorporated fun, hip dances moves with both the yoga and the ballet. And what I loved is that the people who are doing the classes are in all shapes and sizes - this isn't one of those intimidating DVDs where all the participants are magazine models. These are regular people (even a guy named Randy - hot!) doing these moves and my neighbor and I are begun to do the routines 3x a week. We mix up the sections of the yoga/ballet so it doesn't get boring. This is a definite must for anyone looking to strengthen and tone and have fun exercising! ... Absolutely LOVE these 3 DVDs. yoga booty ballet: light and easy & Latin Dance
I got it for my girlfriend who used to dance a lot so she could work out. The light and easy is too easy for her but "fun" according to her. The Latin Dance was better, but still easy. She said she didn't feel wore out like she just worked out afterward.

Not Bad...
I decided to buy this video because I love Latin music, and I need the exercise. I found it to be okay; but the intructors seem to be out of sync with one another, even their "posse" seemed to be confused on which moves to do next. The instructors just seemed to do whatever without warning. Once I went through the moves a few times - it became less chaotic, as I knew what to expect next. **ALSO, A BIG NEGATIVE FOR ME WAS THE BEGINNING. I PERSONALLY DON'T CARE FOR THE "CALL ON YOUR INNER BEING..." MANTRA. I JUST FAST FORWARD THROUGH THAT PART.I decided to buy this video because I love Latin music, and I need the exercise. Hate the name love the workout!
I have been looking for something to keep me motived and not kill me with over the top exercise. I have found that in the YBB series. I get a great workout, that is actually fun and time for myself. I have tried all the new fitness crazes but I had never done yoga before this. I have to say that I completely enjoy the yoga part of the series. I find it very calming and centering. No other workouts have given me this feeling...and I don't just mean the calming...my abs and butt are feeling it too!I have been looking for something to keep me motived and not kill me with over the top exercise.
