    Good Book for Masters, Not For Beginners

    A nice book but probably not for beginners. It does give you the instructions for all the knots but the projects progress rather quickly from a couple simple bracelets to a lot of longer and more complex chokers and ornaments which I was not really interested in making. If you’ve already made lots of bracelets and you’re ready to move on to something else, this is the book for you. If you’re just starting out and want to make some simple beaded bracelets, you might want to find a more basic book.

    A Great Introduction to Hemp Jewelry

    This book covers all the basics of hemp jewelry along with a few really striking, professional-looking patterns and some useful insider tips. Unfortunately static pictures can never truly do justice to knot tying. If you are able to easily follow instructions from a book you will go far with this one. If not, you may still need someone show you the fundamentals.

    The Book of Hemp

    The book is good. There are plenty of easy to read instructions and pictures. The knots take a lot of practice to get used to , but there are also a handful of projects with step by step instructions. Overall, a good beginner book to use.

    I have yet to come across a better macrame instructional book.

    This book helps make some of the more difficult knots easy because of the clear instructions and pictures that are given. There is everything you need to know to get started and more than enough variations to keep you busy for quite some time.

    Great reference guide to hemp jewelery!

    Wonderful instructional guide to hemp jewelry. The book goes into great detail with each and every individual step. I've been using this book as a reference guide for years, and I have yet to find a question that it can't answer about making hemp jewelry!
