My favorite song on this CD is "I Could Get Used to This." Though the rest of the music is good. It really has this fun girl feel to it. I like the beat to most of the songs, and I like the issues the songs deals with. I like the song about everything falling apart, it is just one of those songs that represents one of those days you have, when you believe you are having the worse day in the world. There is song "everything I'm not," about how this guy wanted her to be like a certain girl she wasn't. I usually like music that makes me think of a story, this is no exception I can come up with story ideas. My sister says they sound a little like Avril Lavinge, while there music seems to be more fun to me, there does seem to be a similiarity, if you dislike Avirl, I don't think you like them very much. And I would also put M2M in the same category. I think if you like the song "Everything I'm not," you'll probably like of the CD.Read full review
Great band if you like Girly Girl music. I love the CD, my daughter loves the cd, but by husband and son just thinks it's "ok". Even my husband agrees though that they are very talented and they are a good band for what they are. Alot of "love" songs and "jilted lover" type songs, they could be a bit more varied in the themes of the songs. The only song on here that doesn't have to do with being in love or being jilted by a lover is "Mother, Mother", which is a remake and really just seems to be stuck on the end of the tracks because it really doesn't fit in (lyrically) with the rest of the cd. They really are talented and really to rock, but i think they were maybe a bit lyrically challenged on this cd.
The "Untouched" track released last year (I saw it first on MTV Hits) captured the spirit of pop hits of yesterday but with an updated techno sound. This CD is more of the same, but without a standout track. I'm not sure if I would buy their next CD, but definitely can recommend either of the last two.
The Secret Life of... reached #2 Down Under and produced a slew of hits. How the album only reached #133 in the US is unexplainable. If you're a fan of Taylor Swift or Katy Perry, for example, you'll probably be well pleased with the CD and its slick, contagious teen pop. No text. Liner notes include lyrics that are annoyingly small. Break out the magnifying glass.

I first heard the Veronicas on a great website called pandora.com. I didn't know that I would recognize as many songs as I did when I got the cd. One song in particular is played on the radio a lot, however; I never realized that it was them singing. It's pretty good.
