    Classic Olivier worth watching

    This is a classic presentation of King Lear. Some of the scenes are set in a space similar to Stonehenge and misty, but that did not bother me because the focus was on the characters. Other scenes towards the end were filmed outdoors and people may find a mad king eating a raw rabbit disagreeable. Overall the acting was superb, classic Olivier.

    Best performance of King Lear on film, in my opinion. Olivier and whole cast are outstanding! It is one of the most difficult Shakespeare plays. The dvd was perfect and arrived very quickly.
