It is a beautifully designed player and being the Japanese version also offers a high gain volume switch unlike US version. It is essentially an android based iPod with built in high quality dac/headphone amp. It easily drives my sennheiser HD660s2 headphones , and sounds great. I loaded Apple Music and streamed right away. I also installed a micro SD card with some .flac files. They played fine of course.
