Exactly what was needed!
We were going to give our first 'lecture' for up to 90 women, followed a few days later by a workshop for 16. The subject was fairy wings and how to make one of our small fairies, called Pixelles. (Lets put in a quick plug here for !) How can you show that to that many people without one of these? This projector made that possible. We showed step-by step photos for each type of wing, which enhanced the lecture, but also clarified written and verbal directions at the workshop. It was invaluable. Renting something was going to cost us about the same, especially as we would have needed some practice before the big day. We purchased a manufacturer refurbished unit to keep some of the cost down. Why this one? It HAD to be portable, so size and weight were important - sturdy enough to ... This slimline and lightweight unit was perfect, without any loss of features we might need. It needed to be bright enough too of course, and it performed perfectly with those overhead fluorescent lights, directly over the screen, turned off. We had a real blending of PC and Mac setting up the presentation which was easy with the free Epson support. The remote control has all the features we'll ever need and I, a confirmed tech-incompetent, had fun playing with photos from a flash drive, camera, and iPad . We had to have the WiFi feature too. It was important for us to be able to leave quickly and quietly after each event, and this unit can be packed away immediately without having to wait for it to cool down. It came with its own carrying case, instruction manual, and remote control. We bought a laser pointer although there is a 'pointing' feature on the remote. This projector gave the necessary support to both presentation and workshop without being difficult to use or too intrusive.

Great deal for someone who wants the latest features on a tight budget.
Great deal. Love it. Only problem was I had to buy an now power cord. One furnished was loose and would lose contact. Simple fix.
