    A Hauntingly Brilliant Album!

    If you are a fan of Enya, Loreena McKennitt or Sarah McLachlan , then you will enjoy the haunting vocals of October Project. This band is one of music's forgotten gems! The 5-member band featuring the vocals of Mary Fahl, blend mystical lyrics with warm melodies and haunting instrumentation. Crossing boundaries between New Age, Pop and Folk, this cd takes you on an incredible music journey! "Bury My Lovely" is a haunting song about memories that never die and that seem to return. This was their first single that put them on the charts. Another highly recommended track is their second single, "Return To Me" - warm and relaxing, this song is a must have!     Paths of Desire

    This was a CD I had before but had been lost in several moves over the course of 2 years. I missed it and had "Paths of Desire" stuck in my head and refused to leave; I HAD to buy this. The enitre CD is true to October Project, transporting you with the not-ready for mainstream vocals and music. This is a CD that, if you have the option, would be perfect to sit and listen to with your eyes closed and just let the music take you where it wants. It is a different journey each time. I absolutly love this CD and will be buying more October Project.

    stunning in every way

    both of october project's cds are stunning- if you have never heard these songs i cant recommend them more highly-- when i buy christmas or birthday presents for friends i usually buy these cds or if they have them already i will turn them on to eva cassidy. and tho comparing the two singers to each other would be impossible i can say that both were/and are the two best female singers of the last 40 years-- dont believe me? take a listen. and the professional reviewer needs a vacation or he doesnt know what music is.

    Exceptional from Start to Finish

    I bought this CD after purchasing lead singer Mary Fahl's 2003 solo CD The Other Side of Time (also excellent). From beginning to end, this is an incredible CD. The quality is consistent throughout. There are videos for Return to Me and Bury My Lovely on youtube. If you like the videos, then you will want this CD.

    Overall experience is love it-love it-love it!

    Beautiful,haunting lyrics and vocals make this a must have for any music library. Too bad this group fell apart so soon. Great music for relaxing and just perfect all around. I originally had this cd back in "the day" when group first hit the airways. Was stolen and I am so glad to have it back in my collection! I recommend this is all. Everyone can find a song,a line and beat within all the songs on this cd to relate and find yourself singing along to. Give it a spin in your player and you will be hooked too!
