    I wasn’t sure if I would like this scaled down version but like everyone one else I realized it’s nice to have a less menacing 3” blade for general edc. It didn’t disappoint at all . I have had many other Spyderco knives and still do. One of my all time favorites is its big brother para 2. So it only made sense to try this one out, although I waited awhile before I purchased it. I really like it . The new steel is edgy to say the least definitely a step up from its brothers s30v. I don’t think they make a better 3” model in their line. So if you’re looking for something this size and don’t mind spending a little more. I would definitely recommend adding this one to your collection.     Tough work knife

    Watched the reviews and took the dive. Was looking for something more than the normal pocket knife. Uses for not only boxes or recycling but working around the backyard as well. Thicker blade, strong lock, and smooth operation fit well with my large hands and strong force behind my slicing and cutting tasks. Size is a little bit bigger in pocket, but doesn’t bother me at all. Biggest complaint is pocket clip; it catches more than my other knives. Can replace that later, very satisfied and would buy another if lost/ broken.

    Excellent knife

    This seems like the perfect folding knife (to me). Fits in my pocket, and my hand, perfectly. Blade comes sharp, s30v should hold its edge for a while. Knife has an excellent feel to it. Very pleased.

    Lightweight & razor sharp

    Just the right size for everyday carry.I have an original Spyderco Military, for fishing and outdoor use....it's blade is too long(3-13/16") for EDC.Razor sharp out of the box. Al A. Richmond Va.
