    It works

I'm loading plated 9mm 115 gr. fmj bullets and the only problem I've seen is it drops the last bullet in the feed tube. Not having to set the bullets by hand lets me watch the case and primer feed systems and check the cases for powder. When I stop to refresh the primers I fill the 4 bullet feed tubes it only takes a few min. I'm not loading for speed but my loadmaster will load 450 - 500 rounds per hour almost as fast as my Dillon 650 that has a electric case feeder. I have 5 progressive machines and may add Lee bullet feeders on all of them.

New Style Seater/Crimp Die NOT Included!

Make SURE you have the new style Seat/Crimp Die with the funnel/taper to accept the jaws of the feeder! For the price, it works fine with a little tuning, which a couple 'YouTube' videos will show you. Ordering the correct LENGTH for the bullet is imperative, long bullets in a short feeder die will mess things up.

  • Works to an extent even on a Hornady press

So far, so good, and I've run perhaps 500 rounds with this. The main reasons I got the Lee bullet feeder are one, the Lee factory crimp die, and two, the RCBS lockout die. The Hornady bullet feeder would have hogged up a die station from one of those two. Since the Lee bullet feeder mounts to the bullet seating die, it doesn't matter which press you have, it can be mounted to it. Getting the feeder to work automatically is the trick, so I just activate it by flipping the lever after each pull of the handle. It does exactly what it's supposed to. I do have the same issue mentioned above with it dropping the last bullet from the tube, this is not an issue so long as I fill the tube every 30 or 40 rounds. I'm running 125 grain cast lead bullets which are tumble lubed with Lee Liquid Alox. ...

  • Lightweight but not the right features

Lee lists different fingers for the bullet feeder kits. This kit comes with fingers that do not work with 9mm bullets. The fingers supplied with the kit allow the bullets to slide right through. As a result anyone that purchases this ad on will be cussing it and Lee and who ever they purchased it from. Sellers of this kit need to list the correct fingers or have a link to the Lee website

  • Good Starting Point

Minor deficiencies in operation can be remedied by modifying two parts as explained in YouTube videos.
