Superb quality. Of course "DeWalt quality" means something. It means long term reliability, ease of use etc.; but also it means a variety of features (some subtle, some obvious) that makes this tool stand out from others. I'd thoroughly recommend this as an addition to anybody's collection of DeWalt 18V XR battery driven products. Its got the power, the design, the build quality that any professional needs. This tool will never let you down. Superb quality. Of course "DeWalt quality" means something. Excellent reciprocating saw from DeWalt
Excellent quality as you would expect from DeWalt. Well-made and easy to use with no trailing leads as with mains powered tools. Comfortable and well-balanced. Easy to change blade system with good range of blades available. Will be used for DIY and expect it to last many years as my other DeWalt tools.

A great reciprocating saw for use anywhere.
There seems to be a real glut of pallets available at the moment. They are give a source of really useful timber for all sorts of project, particularly on my new allotment. The downside is that pallets are such a challenge to take apart. But once boards are prised apart enough to get a blade in the gap this reciprocating saw makes quick work of all the nails. It is relatively lightweight and straightforward to use. The mechanism for quick change of blades is a brilliantly simple design. This cordless tool takes batteries I already have with my Dewalt drills so I am very happy with this purchase.There seems to be a real glut of pallets available at the moment. Powerful and robust
Very pleased with such a powerful and versatile saw - being able to buy a bare unit means that a saved a lot of money by not buying a duplicate battery and charger that I don't need. I already have a 5ah battery which has four times the life of a basic battery, and a 1.2ah one for use whilst the big battery is being charged.
