ENEMY MOBILE SUITS HAVE INFILTRATED SIDE 7! Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam is an excellent entry in to BanDai's long running Gundam VS. games. There is a HUGE selection of suits and pilots and several different modes of play. There is an arcade style story mode but this game is a direct market to Gundam fans. It helps a lot if you know the stories behind the Gundam iterations contained on this disc. The suit selection includes a large majority of those seen during the One Year war including some of the suits featured in 8th MS team. Unfortunately they skipped over 0083 and went straight to Zeta Gundam. You can't really blame them as the game is called Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam. The selection of suits from Zeta Gundam is expansive to say the least. There all pretty much here in a variety of colors and load outs. Your suit selection is not just limited to EFSF and Aeug but Zeon and Titan as well including many mobile armors. If you've played Gundam: Federation VS. Zeon you'll be right at home as this game fits in nicely as a sequel featuring similar controls, environments, and situations. It's age is apparent and the graphics honestly weren't that great when it came out. However the gameplay is where this game really shines. It's addictive, frenetic, and simple yet you'll find yourself mastering certain suits and weapon combos. The multiplayer is top notch featuring several Vs. and Co-Op modes. There isn't really much else to say about Gundam Vs. Zeta Gundam other than that it truly is one of the better Gundam games to be released here in the US. If you're an avid Gundam fan and are contemplating this game do yourself a favor: buy it, invite a friend over, and have a good time. It's worth the $20.00Read full review
If you have played Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation vs. Principality of Zeon, then prepare for another great game! Though extremely similar to the previous game, the new additions are still immense. As the title suggests, "Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam," this game is about the original Mobile Suit Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam which is a series before Char's Counterattack. The gameplay mechanics is entirely the same as MS: FvsPoZ, 3rd person view, with same controls, and everything else. Now you have more moblie suits to choose. I rated this game 4/5 because of the story, and like MS: FvsPoZ, the story is very weak compared to other Gundam games out there. I expected more cutscenes and dialogues between characters, but not much was enough to satisfy me at all. But don't get me wrong, it's still a great game overall. If you loved MS: FvsPoZ, then you'll probably love this game as well. Or if you're a Gundam fan, you shouldn't be reading my review since you probably have the game already as I speak...Read full review
The game-play is very easy to get the hang of. The story largely follows the first two series in the Gundam universe with a couple of "what-if" scenarios thrown in there that did add plenty to the game. There are a few levels that occasionally are sluggish even on a PS3, but all in all, I'd have to say that the game plays well (both graphically and from the in-game physics). There are a few quirks that anyone that has played Federation Vs Zeon will be aware of--the inability to shoot after you've been hit or to shoot a target when the reticle is yellow, as well as the (occasionally) annoying level borders.
If you're a zeta fan, a uc fan, or just a gundam fan then you will like this. Is it pricey to find nowadays? Yes. Is it worth if for any Nu-Type? Absolutely. As a fan of the first versus game (Federation Vs Zeon) this is a great sequel. To be able to mess with time frames and alternative universe's within the franchise is great and makes sense. If you're a real gundam fan don't worry about the price just pick it up and enjoy!

The game is like my other gundam games that i have, which is good. Pros: the graphics are better, 2 player mode is awesome, many many new gundams + the old ones. Cons: collecting points and buy garbage to beat the game sucks, the loading time of the game is long 5-10 secs. if u can, go watch gundam seed or gundam seed destiny. it's great anime
