Sturdy little attention getter.
I found myself working several jobs where I interacted with people who needed to have whistles blown at them. Because this is a "pea" type whistle, meaning it has a 'pea' (in this case cork) inside it causing a vibrato effect to the whistle sound, it is Coast Guard approved as a sound producing device which came in handy because one of my jobs required riding a personal water craft and on another job I drive other peoples boats that are sometimes in dubious states of preparedness.

An innovative solution for bike path safety, a whistle.
I needed a good device to sound to my approach on the bike paths. Bells weren't loud enough and air horns could be overkill. This little whistle, I can wear around my neck and the sound can be modulated easily for effect. It can be very loud when traffic noise is a problem. It's light and unobtrusive. Very well made and durable. I needed a safety solution is this is it ! Warning others of my approach along the bike path has found an excellent solution.
