The text looks crisp and sharp, black level is good. Just FYI - I was comparing with macbook PRO display, LG UltraGear (little better than this) and MSI. At this price, I couldn't find anything better. This is absolute value for money. Only complain I have is, the wire management clip on base stand broke while shipping. The monitor came with all the needed accessories, and powered up without a problem. The monitor stand and the monitor itself had no blemishes or marks that I could spot, and appears to be basically brand new! The monitor showed up in excellent condition as it mentioned. The only problem I have had is the small wobble since the stand doesn't seem the most stable but not too bad.
