It does most of what I wanted it to do. If I had been the designer of the features I would have made some minor changes, but overall it's good and I'll keep it. The quality seems good and I would choose it again.

damaged phone
The receiver button stuck so the phone wouldn't work initially. Once I took it apart and set the spring back into place so the button would pop up once the receiver was lifted, the headset didn't work. I gave it a 2 rating because it "Looked good." It didn't appear damaged.

I think it is really sad that Emerson stopped production on this item!!ENClUDES DAYLIGHT SAVING AUTOMATICALLY!! The BEST phone EVER!! not only was it a phone /clock /radio,but you could set what days you wanted the alarm and the time zone you are in!!! You can also adjust the DST to the new daylight saving time as well!! Also important is. it didn't take a lot of room on your night stand and the handset was lighted as well!! You can also brighten or dim the lcd to you liking!! PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!! This is an item I had looked for because my original telephone was hit by lightning a couple of years ago. I had contacted Emerson only to pay $5.00 for the information that the telephone was not available. To me they made $5 for nothing. I liked the original product and was happy to have a new phone that makes the system work. I liked the original item because I could set the alarm for different days and times.
