  • OEM is not always better.

    The pump looked great and just like the original. I primed it, installed it, cranked the engine until I had pressure. It has a problem though. The pressure dropped off to nothing. When the RPM is up alls well. At stops there is an intermittent pressure drop.

  • Sticking with OE oil pump

    I'm rebuilding my 200,000+ mile engine and I wasn't about to reinstall an old oil pump. I wanted to use a new OE Ford replacement pump, as this allows me retain my old pickup screen and tube. I was happy to find an OE pump at a reasonable price.
