Reasonable replacement assembly, your risk!
I wanted to replace my 12 year old fuel pump and fuel filter on my motorcycle. I checked and made sure it fit my vehicle. The factory replacements were much expensive and you would have to purchase everything separately. The only issue was the wiring harness. It was similar. I swapped out the harness and placed the assembly. It pumped the fuel and the gas gauge worked. I rode the bike on an 80 mile shakedown.
