This rack is solid! I didn't weigh it but it seems a lot heavier than the stated 61 pounds. It fir my 2018 4RUNNER perfectly. I took it out after installation and there seemed to be no extra road noise. The installation instructions were pretty straightforward. There is a lot of steps and parts to keep track of. I felt as though I was putting IKEA furniture together. Lol. The rack is well built and very solid. I would definitely purchase this again. It being over $500 cheaper helps.
