The best designs were on the cover.
I bought this book because I face paint for children's parties and/or events, and can always use some fresh ideas. There are a million (okay, fifty) crazy ideas in this book, and about half of them are worth implementing. Although the illustration of the designs (no photos except on the cover) were small and in black and white, it's actually a great book for kids who are interested in learning to face paint. It even has an easy recipe for making home-made face paints. They might not be as good as most retail paints, but they're fun to make, and pretty inexpensive. If you are interested in some EXCELLENT face and body painting designs (with full-color photographs of the finished work), the books in the Snazaroo line are excellent (as are their paints).
